The curriculum is designed in a manner so as to ensure the all-round development of a child's personality. It follows the directions issued by NCERT and CBSE from time to time. Continuous and comprehensive evaluation is done from primary to secondary level.

CLASS I TO V

The entire Curriculum is divided into two terms. Each term shall consist of a variety of activities which would help in the enhancement of physical and mental skills, language skills; social & emotional skills. Curriculum ensures that mental development of child takes place as per the age of the child.

CLASS VI TO VIII

The curriculum is divided in to two terms:

  • I TERM April to September 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for Half Yearly Examination
  • II TERM October to March 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks For Annual Examination

In accordance to this, we at HCS, Dhubri raise knowledge by identifying assessment as an integral part of the overall framework of the teaching and learning process. Assessment, here, is incorporated into classroom practice and so, tends to lose its individual identity, getting subsumed into the instructional process. 

Therefore, we embrace both periodic Assessment as well as term end assessment (Half - Yearly & Annual)  where in, the former is a tool used by the teacher to continuously monitor student progress in a non-threatening, supportive environment involving regular chance for the student to reflect on their performance, take advice and improve upon it.The latter is carried out at the end of a course of learning measures assessing how much a student has learned from the course.

CLASS IX & X

For classes IX & X, three Periodic Tests, Annual Examination and Pre Board will be conducted during the session.
